The extraordinary results of letting go…

Your job at this point is simple: hold your vibration of peace and see what happens.

There are two truths I can hold at once: I may have loved him, but I can also let him go. Love does not have to mean longing, waiting or holding on. I can feel love without abandoning myself.

Somatic shaking therapy has helped me release the mild morning anxiety and fear of abandonment I once experienced.

Now, I can sit alone in a room for as long as I like, completely content in my own company. That, to me, is total peace. Total freedom.

A weekend with no plans? Bliss. Gardening, tidying the house, DIY, playing the piano. These aren't ways to fill a void or distract myself. They are ways of investing in myself, my happiness and my own little world.

This is the work now: maintaining a state of complete peace. No sense of lack. No rushing towards anything. No aching to be chosen. No waiting for someone else to make life feel complete.

Just being. Enjoying. Creating. Living.

I recognise that I have reached something many people spend a lifetime searching for: the ability to feel whole without needing anything outside myself to complete me.

And it is an extraordinary feeling.

Perhaps the greatest freedom is not getting everything you once wanted, but reaching a place where you no longer feel you need it to be happy.

Hold your peace. Let life unfold. See what happens.
